Hello Friends!

What’s New on the Farm!

Daisy, Ginger, Holly, Molly, & Dolly L-R enjoying their veggies

This month, as the days get shorter and the nights get cooler, we’re busy welcoming our new Herefords and baby piglets to the farm!  Our mama cow, Daisy, and her baby calf, Ginger are settling in and getting acquainted with the rest of the herd, Molly, Dolly, and Holly!  Speaking of Holly, the mama-to-be is doing well and enjoying lots of sunshine, fresh grass, and afternoon shade!

The new piggies are “gettin’ piggy with it” in their new pasture, where they can run, root, and roll around!  These babies are very friendly and energetic, and they love all the sunshine and wide-open space here on the farm!

Great News! Ivester Farm Pastured Pork will be Available at the Sept 21st Market Square Farmers Market!!

We’re so happy to inform you, our loyal customers, that you can purchase our delicious pork chops, breakfast sausage, chorizo, bratwurst, pork belly, and other cuts this month!!   We’re so thankful for all of you!  We LOVE hearing about how much you enjoy our products, and we are thrilled to be able to offer pasture-raised products with NO hormones or antibiotics!

Joke of the Month

Why do cows have hooves instead of feet?

Because they lactose!!

WE APPRECIATE YOU!!

Thanks for stopping by our booth at the farmers market and for all the phone calls and emails!  We love hearing from you, so give us a “holler” any time you have a comment, question, or just want to “chew the fat!”
