December 2024 Newsletter
Hello Friends!
What’s New on the Farm!
The wait is finally over! We have a fresh supply of our delicious hickory-smoked, maple-cured bacon in stock!! It takes a little while to cure it to perfection (6 weeks to be exact), but it’s well worth the wait!
You’ll want to visit us at the Market Square Farmer’s Market in Knoxville this Saturday, December 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to “bring home the bacon” and eat “high on the hog” this Christmas morning!
And don’t forget to grab a dozen eggs to go with your bacon! As always, our pork and eggs are all pasture-raised with no hormones or antibiotics for a difference you can see and taste!!
FARMER’S MARKET UPDATES!
December 21, 2024 will be the last farmer’s market in Market Square this year. The market will resume on January 18, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and we’ll be located in the square for the remainder of the winter season! We hope you’ll continue to come out to support us and the other farmers during the winter months!
In other exciting farmer’s market news, we plan to be at the Oak Ridge Farmer’s Market next year at their new location in Roane State Community College on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.! This market is indoors, for those who don’t fancy the cold weather, so stay tuned for updates regarding when you can find us there! We’re excited about joining this market, and we hope to see you there soon!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
As we enter the Christmas season, we are overwhelmed with gratitude to God, to all the other vendors, and to our devoted customers at the Market Square Farmer’s Market! We have so enjoyed getting acquainted with the farmer’s market community, where the vendors are supportive of each other, and the customers go out of their way to make us feel loved and supported! What a wonderful experience we’ve had this year! We wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!!
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:…and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
And as a wise, young cartoon character named Linus van Pelt once said to his buddy Charlie, “That’s what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown.”
WE APPRECIATE YOU!!
Thanks again for supporting local! We love getting your calls and emails, so keep ‘em coming! Hope to see you soon at the Market Square Farmers Market in downtown Knoxville!!
